What Customers Say About Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym:

Fisher-Price denies that there baby products contain flame retardants but there 9 test done on different parts of this product by Healthytoys.org and all showed that it contains bromine. I will not purchase anything now without making sure it has been tested to be safe. Mattel who owns Fisher-Price was recently fined for distributing toys that contain lead: http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/retail/2009-06-05-mattel-fine_N.htm This toy looks great and my son enjoyed playing with it until I checked it out on Healthytoys.org and found that it contains the flame retardant and toxin bromine. This is very unfortunate since the chemical can cause nervous system and thyroid damage.
I would recommend this well built Gym. My Daughter absolutely loves this, we have had it for 4 months now and no complaints. She has really learned to reach and grap and pull herself all around this mat and she is only 22 weeks old.
I love this product, because the baby can use from birth to 1 month of the year a little more.
That is crazy. I use this for my son and he likes it. I am very thankful for the resale shop. I figured since mine was slightly used (everything works well and is very clean) that it was probably regularly $60.00. However, I bought it at a resale shop and only paid $25.00 for it. I could not believe the price when I saw it on here.
[.]. [.]. The only thing I wish this gym had was a tummy support pillow like most of the bobby gyms have.
